a red, white & blue thursday

so we could have gone down the captain america route with todays red, white and blue post, i mean joey's got so much built-up propulsion and super powers he's about ready to explode...

but we thought that since all the 'yanks' were gonna pull out their patrotic card this week we would throw in our nationalism card - you see they've been wanting to change our new zealand flag for a while now... some people think its boring...

so i sat wrapped in our so called 'unoriginal' NZ red, white and blue flag and pondered change...

the 1974 commonwealth games logo is pretty cool but it is red, white and blue, too patriotic?...

i think ralph hotere was on the right track when he produced his black union jack series, now we are talking, black is cool...

new zealand has already been gifted a flag done by that super famous dude hundertwasser, so why waste it?...

suddenly it all seemed rather obvious...

i am a 'muse' and i am off to find a flagmaker...

next week blue has declared it can be anything... is that something, nothing or everything i wonder?

it's not a very peachey tale this thursday

so get this...

having found no peach in our house, popular colour by the way... (giggle... snicker... laugh), b decided to focus her attentions on my tail... my lovely, feathery tail that is as big as my head, stands so proud and wafts gently in the wind...

b said my tail had become as fuzzy as a peach... wHaTTTTTT... you saying my tail is full of peach fuzz... get outa here...

hey b put those scissors down and step away from my backside... NOW... i said, step away for barking out loud...

oh the humility, look what you've done to me... it's a criminal act... i've been butchered!

i'm having an identity crisis i tell'ya... this is so not funny...

b what happened to flair, where was your inspiration, the creativity?... where was your skill?!

this is not a peachey situation at all, you see, a tail is a very private thing...

oh and just so you all know, blue's next wee colour gem... is going to be emerald!

a navy posting

last week blue said that navy is it for this weeks colour and i quote her..."not the Navy sung about by The Village People in the 1970's either!" well blue, b says that navy reminds her of old school uniforms and that kinda brings out her rebellious side...

so we kinda think you will understand why we need to do this post... you see my mates and i really are the perfect candidates for this mission... and if you click on their names you will see the proof!

mango as the construction guy cos hes so strong and has responsibilities rebuilding his barn.

pee wee as the military guy cos he's so into his agility training.

mitch makes the perfect cowboy cos he's a bandana wearer from way back.

tanner as the indian cos he's known to rattle an antler or two.

joey as the cop, well he was the dude that saved asta's wheely nephew afterall.

i guess that leaves me as the biker... well i do own doogles with flames on...

so blue we dedicate this one to you...
