peridot eh, well i snagged this from b's yarn stash cos i figure its close...

a gold thursday and hidden treasure

well b said i have to fess up that mr pirate chicken got decapitated by a vicious fanged beast...

spose if he had buried any treasure chests of gold we will never know now...

so b... you thinking our new veges are gonna be as good as gold in that dirt then?

actually moll i think she's planting those special seeds that are as rare as hen's teeth...

these peppers are so secret b has nicknamed them our pardon me's...

nah you woose moll, they are just peppers, special peppers that b & c had at a flash restaurant in melbourne

a restaurant called movida, apparently it was a bit of a golden moment where they both discovered their love of tapas

now we have to wait for another golden moment, the first sprout... or two...

so we gonna get all these planted then too?

with all the goings on she still came up trumps...

it matches my pirate chicken see... well b's parents, niki and neil, were here staying with us the whole weekend...

they shopped in flash git shops...

and they went to a flash git restaurant to celebrate neil's birthday...

where they ate yummy foodibles... and saw a collection of 1930's glass that inspired b to look for more stuff to clutter our home with arf arf!                                                                                                                                                                      

and you know what!... she found some... sheesh! beginnings of a new collection b??

and while they were out feasting, we were left home on our lonesome with just a rawhide bone to chew on... and a bed to muck up, doyle are they are sharing our bed... yep moll think of it like camping... one for all and all for one...

but we did get to go to the local french cafe for brunch... and bacon...

and cos its french it kinda passes for red white and blue - oui? check out niki's flash new moscots... neil's too busy checking me out under the table arf arf...

moll they also all went to the theatre and it was british musical arf theres another red white and blue...

was that the one where hannah, c's daughter, was one of the leads...

and her boyfriend tom, who b & c think is so cool, also had one of the leads...

yep, hannah played linda and tom was mickey... b & c even cried they were so proud!

and after niki and neil flew home :(... b & c got a package... all the way from california! from bishop california!

oh sweet moll there are some good smells in this package... what'cha mean not for dogs...

b says these reeses cup things are their all time fav's specially when frozen, ok maybe not red white and blue but they are from america...

their friend tricia also sent them some candy corn cos its special... c said to tell her thanks for the wax earplugs arf arf arf

this cool mexican cardy thing has lotsa red white and blue so that must count... no?

we don't quite get the square cat thing though... ?

phew, with all the excitements me thinks that all that's left to do now is reclaim my bed and curl up for a snooze on my red white and blue dr seuss duvet and dream of good times with my family and friends - loves and licks to ya all xxx
