ok peeps be prepared to be disappointed, the bitter truth is we are about to waste your time with a rather bad lemon post... |
the hunt for lemon took us first to the obvious… |
bodi's lemon tree... |
it has never had a lemon yet but we have noted it has started to get some flowers... paws crossed b & c will get to have a bodi lemon soon... |
while doyle was checking the perimeter and the state of our yard, oi there's a few lemon coloured leaves here guys, i chased flies... |
leading me to discover this lone lemon (and fly) on our other lemon tree... |
hey moll you coming... oi note the lemon coloured patch in our grass... pee stain? |
quick doyle i am inspired... |
see it big boy?... you gotta be naughty and climb up on the railing... just don't let b & c see you cos they will go spastic... |
it's a lemon coloured blossom flower in our strawberry guava tree... |
the bumble bees love them... see the lemon coloured pollen sacks on its legs... |
oh moll... boring... this all you got? |
well the sunlight is kinda lemon... |
and maybe the tomato flowers... |
what do you reckon... bit yellow maybe... |
what about b & c's special pardon me plants, the new shoots could be described as being lemon coloured... no? |
and if b & c don't keep watering, all the plants will turn lemon coloured just like this poor coriander... |
hey doyle wanna see the pièce de résistance... |
luscious lemon yoghurt from the collective dairy... it's a winner for sure... |
plus b did the packaging, hey our kitchen cabinets are rather lemon too... |
doyle where you off too? but this is my grand finale... moll i have one better, believe me... |
b & c wanna know who left the lemon coloured pee in the bathroom... and they don't mean this pee toy! |
c'mon doyle that's not fair, it was so you... fess up! |
plus my aim aint that good... |
so there you have it lemon - a bit bitter and a whole lot of sweet! |
rather important pee..ess: our furry friend khyra pointed out that we kinda missed something lemoney cool... way to go kyhra we think this is the bees knees!

Umm, we have to admit we have quite the lemon-colored path in our yard too, or maybe it is more like lemon stepping stones:)

LOL! That was an awesome Lemon Post! I especially like the fly on the lemon. Very cool shot.
Hugs,
You two couldn't do a bad blog if you tried. Love it! Especially the lemon tree that has never had lemons on it.

Lovely lemony post. We don't have lemon trees in Vancouver and I am so envious you have two in your yard.
This is so apt. Peter Paul and Mary were on the car radio singing Lemon Tree and I was singing along with them. I love Trini Lopez' Lemon Tree too.
We adored the lemon...and the pics of the tomato blossums...
We have snow and you have spring...
We'd rather have spring!
Sniff the tomato plants for us...we love that summery smell!!
Kisses,
Lacie Lemon Bars
Hi, thanks for stopping by to say hello.
We have a lemon tree behind us--actually it's in the neighbour's garden, but we can get lemons from it.

The recent rain and flooding has decimated the cherry crop for this year. Look forward to your cherry pictures.
