I'm sorry for the loss of your friend Kashin. It looks like he (or she) lived a good long life. How did you happen to know each other? I know that elephants and doggies can become good friends.
b used to do a lot of design for the auckland zoo... she did a lot of the interpretives... she would often go to the zoo before it opened so she was able to spend special time with the animals... kashin was one of her favourites cos she kinda felt like she grew up with her...
That is so sad, but she Kashin lived a long life and was obviously loved & well cared for @ the Zoo.
