a snow white thursday... twas a fairy tale...

some of you may have been wondering where we disappeared to, why we missed two true colour posts and why, until yesterday, we have made no posts at all and maybe worst of all... why we haven't caught up on all your adventures... well just like in a fairy tale...

we went to a faraway land...

a land of no internet...

a land of crisp snow white sheets...

a land of magical creatures...

some so very strange, we had never them seen before...

it was a land full of searing white sunshine...

where fresh white garlic, given to us by laura and lloyd, dried in the shade...

where big white blobs of sunscreen was required...

where gin & tonics in whited spotted glasses with lemons with white piths were picked straight from the tree...

a land of cool white floors...

where a welcomed breeze came from silent white ceiling fans...

a land where we got to use our new white pool...

"after you...

last one out is a..."

"cool dog arf arf arf"...

a land where mollie discovered other uses for our water bowl with the white stripe...

"just one leg...

...please?"...

it was a land where we played...

and we played...

a land where the bones turned white in a flash...

where the food was served on big white plates... morning...

and night...

it was where we all got to have huge steaks from the local butcher straight off the barbie...

it was where we had evening strolls as the sun was setting and the white fluffy clouds replaced the blue sky...

it was where the telescope stood at the ready...

to reveal a big white full moon...

it was a land where the only trips we made were for local provisions...

like mahoe white farmers cheese...

it was where we hardly needed to use the white paper towels for mollie wee oops's...

ohaeawai, the acorn cottage... a magical place to see in a new decade and to celebrate b & c's 7th wedding anniversary...

a land of few chores...

a place to relax...

a place full of bliss...

six perfect days of contemplation and fun!...

and a land we were so very sad to leave... laura and lloyd of the darroch cottage, we thank you... until the next time...!

blue's next thursday challenge is apricot, it is nice to be back!

Hi guys,

Sorry we haven't visited for ages, we haven't played true colours for ages either. We are back this week though and loved your snow white post.
