a purple thursday and it's a wooly one!

ah the hunt for purple... such a noble colour and most deserving of a post full of richness... and beauty...

but not today folks instead our purple this week focuses on the colour of a bruise... a bruised ego to be exact... i can barely handle the shame...

or the reveal...

mollie can snicker all she likes, the truth is she felted me all up...

this tale is a sad one... yes, as sad as my tail... oh the humiliation...

i heard b say to lindie, my personal groomer, "he will have to be sheared"... what the?... i am not a sheep for arfing sake, no way, you can't pull the wool over my eyes...

talking about wool, b's got some hairbrain idea about crocheting a granny square blankie for b & c's bed. she's gonna post the progress each week... i'm giving her 4 posts before she flags it or c finds out how much it's gonna cost... arf arf arf

oh and mollie update: b's face sure was purple when she came home and found this!!

one bad dog who could have been one fried dog if b hadn't turned the power off at the wall!!!

and finally this bunch of purple kale seems a great representation of even the ugly can be quite beautiful, it's all in the eyes of the beholder apparently...

next thursday blue's colour of the day is mango... and it isn't of the relentlessly huge variety arf arf

Poor Doyle - Im a bit lost for words. Brodie has been through this too - don't worry wee Doyle it will grow back again. He's going to need a warm jacket in this weather though!
And your mac! argh! I've been there as Lulah did that to mine. It's a pretty expensive chew toy.

Oh no, what happened to your tail? We can't imagine what we would look like if we had to have that done to our tails. We would be happy to send you some furs to cover up, Doyle.

Oh dear on that cord - lucky pup but sad news for the human's wallet.
